NSW: Men arrested over safe robberies
SYDNEY, April 27 AAP - Two men have been arrested in relation to a string of safe theftsin Sydney's east.
A police spokeswoman said the men, aged 33 and 38, from Guildford, in Sydney's west,were arrested in a raid this morning.
A number of safes had been stolen in Rose Bay, in Sydney's east, since February lastyear, police said.
Rose Bay police, attached to Operation Unanga, this morning executed a search warranton a home in Guildford, where the men were arrested.
A number of valuable items were also seized, the spokeswoman said.
The men were now assisting police with their inquiries.
