VIC:Murder accused "schizophrenic"
A court's heard the man charged over last Friday's double shooting on Melbourne's Lygon
street has previously been diagnosed a paranoid schizophrenic.
ADAM KOSIAN has appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court today charged with murdering
60 year-old BORIS KOSTOV and 44 year-old GORAN VASIC.
His lawyer CARRIE O'SHEA has told the court KOSIAN is yet to be assessed by a doctor
in custody but has previously being diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
She's says he's currently not receiving any medication and doesn't require any.
The matter's been adjourned for a committal mention on December 13.
Mr KOSTOV and Mr VASIC were gunned down outside Players of Lygon in Carlton to the
shock of witnesses on the busy restaurant strip.
