QLD:Teen dumps body, avoids jail in Qld
A teenage mother has avoided spending any time in jail for helping her boyfriend dispose
of a body on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
19-year-old KILAH JOHNELLE JONES has received a wholly-suspended five-year sentence
.. after pleading guilty in the Supreme Court in Brisbane to one count of accessory after
the fact of murder.
The court was told she was a frightened and easily influenced 17-year-old when she
helped her 23-year-old boyfriend dump their flatmate's body.
It's alleged the boyfriend killed the flatmate during an argument in May 2009 at their
Nambour unit.
He's been charged with murder and will stand trial at the end of the month.
